Keeway Motorcycle Bangladesh will launch Keeway RKS150 with CBS in Bangladesh next week. The bike will be the first CBS braking system motorcycle in Bangladesh. The bike will also carry some minor upgrades from the current model to compete with the bikes in the current market.

Unlike the previous RKS150 this new 2017 edition gets duel disc brake & CBS as standard , tubeless tyres (something which was missing in the previous edition), new graphics ,USB Charger point,  new rim & LED indicators. (Current Keeway RKS150 cost 160 k). Due to all these changes the bike will add another 6 kg to its body. First of all for those who don’t know, CBS means COMBI BRAKING SYSTEM. This technology is widely use in scooter like Hero Pleasure, Znen T6 etc etc. This type of technology isn’t widely use in motorcycle but upcoming Honda CB Hornet might have it. 

 CBS is the most efficient way of braking, where with the press of one lever the brake force is applied on both the rear & front brake.  It reduces braking distance & improves the stability of the motorcycle. This system ensures that equal braking force is distributed to the front & rear wheel at the same time to give it the perfect balance. CBS is done mostly by an equalizer which is fitted in the bike to give the perfect balancing force, for new riders with less experience CBS will help them to gain more confident under braking. Keeway RKS150 CBS get a 240 mm diameter 3 pistons disc brake at front while the rear wheel will have a 2 pistons 190 mm diameter disc brake. 

Rest of the Keeway RKS150 With CBS is still the same as the current edition of the Keeway RKS150, 150cc air cooled engine which produces around 14 BHP. The engine is carburetor & features both self & kick starter. Front suspensions are conventional telescopic & rear mono shock suspension. Added to that you will get a digital speedometer.

 Since 165 cc engine regulation was announced we all were waiting for Honda CB Hornet, the first Indian motorcycle to have CBS to come in Bangladesh but before them Keeway introduce Keeway RKS150 with CBS in Bangladesh, it will be interesting to see with how much efficiency does the brakes work. The bike is available  in 3 different colors & the price of the bike will be 162,900 BDT.
