Lifan KPM 200 is a small-capacity street scrambler motorcycle showcased in the Lifan motorcycle lineup. The motorcycle is manufactured and marketed by the renowned Chinese motorcycle and scooter manufacturer Lifan. It’s an entry-level commuter motorcycle that comes with an all-new design that crafted with modern café-racer styling enhanced with a few old-school body elements.

Therefore, the Lifan KPM 200 is a unique addition in the Lifan motorcycle lineup that exclusively features the 70s’ retro styling on a modern motorcycle that has a bunch of modern technical features inside. Besides a highly capable wheel, brake, and suspension setup, the motorcycle also features a decently powerful 200cc single-cylinder engine. The new Lifan KPM 200 is a nicely designed entry-level cafe-racer machine that is something unique from the Chinese motorcycle and scooter manufacturer Lifan. Technologically, it’s a 200cc small capacity commuter motorcycle that solely holds the old-school retro-styling on its street-scrambler profile. Therefore, the motorcycle is exclusively retained as a modern café-racer that has been designed taking inspiration from the 1970s scrambler motorcycles.

However, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Lifan was never afraid of the experiments and offering their customers something uncommon they wouldn’t expect. Thus Lifan KPM 200 was born, getting all old-school styling in a modern form. Therefore, from head to tail, the motorcycle is impressively featured with modern technical features like all-LED lights, a digital ODO cluster, advanced suspension systems, and a number of technical enhancements. 

In the design, the motorcycle features a round shape naked headlamp assembly featuring with multi-pit LED light and DRL setup. The turn indicators are mounted on both sides of the headlamp, and the single-piece pipe handlebar is positioned just on the naked triple-clamp. Thus, the cockpit is kept absolutely empty, which nicely boasts an open and naked styling and nicely showcases a true scrambler-like aesthetic.

Next, the fuel tank of the motorcycle comes with a gorgeous retro design enhanced with an edgy and cutting-edge profile. A fully digital ODO is mounted naked on the left side of the tank, and the tank is attractively crafted with leather strap fasteners hooked to the fuel cap. Then, two round monograms were stamped on both sides of the tank. Meanwhile, matching the tank design, the side and rear panels are designed compactly, which exclusively boasts its naked styling.

At the tail, the KPM 200 features a very minimalistic seat featuring a semi-step-up design. The tail is absolutely compact that has no grab rail, and it simply features a round-shaped tail lamp, a registration plate hanger, and turn indicators on both sides of the tiny rear wheel mudguard. Alongside, the motorcycle comes with a beefy exhaust muffler that features a metal heatshield, where the engine block features an all-black theme. Thus, the KPM 200 is commissioned with a unique retro styling that seems it somewhat born from the 1970s track.

The Lifan KPM 200 is an old-school-design inspired scrambler motorcycle from Lifan. The motorcycle is designed on a diamond-type steel frame. On the wheels, the motorcycle features conventional steel wire-spoke rims and tube-type dual-sport tires.

In the braking system, the motorcycle comes with hydraulic disc braking setups on both wheels. In the suspension system, Lifan KPM 200 comes with a USD hydraulic telescopic fork suspension system in the front, and at the rear, it holds a mono suspension unit that is attached to the center of the swingarm.

The Lifan KPM 200 is a small-capacity retro cafe-racer style motorcycle. The motorcycle comes with a 198cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, fuel-injection engine. The motorcycle features a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 6-speed gear transmission in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. And, the engine starting is featured with an electric start system only. 

In power and performance figures, the new Lifan KPM 200 engine is tweaked for smoother power delivery and efficient fuel economy. Accordingly, the engine is rated to squeeze out the maximum power of 16.8BHP and a torque of 17Nm.
