Here, the engine is a 249cc, 75-degree V-twin, four-stroke, air-oil-cooled engine, featuring a DOHC 4-valve setup per cylinder. The motorcycle also includes EFI setups instead of a conventional carburetor fuel-feeding system.

In the transmission, the GV250DRA engine features a 6-speed gear system in a pattern of 1-N2-3-4-6, and its clutch system is a manual multi-plate wet-type. The engine starting system is an electric start system. In the power and torque figure, this V-twin engine is tweaked to deliver a maximum power of 26.53BHP at 9,000RPM and torque of 20.8N.m at 8,500RPM. Therefore, the motorcycle is optimized for efficient power delivery that also can ensure a significant range of fuel economy under standard riding conditions.
