Drain the System: Drain all the brake-fluid completely, and take off the old rubber hose. Install the New Hose: Pull the Faito Kobra-X over the original guides (take the banjos out of the gap that is too narrow). Install banjos: Install the straight or 28 o banjos to the master cylinder and caliper with new copper washers on both sides. Tighten Fittings: Make the banjo bolts tight to allow the seal to be complete and airtight. Fill and Bleed: Fill the reservoir with new DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluid. Air Removal: It is necessary to empty the brake system completely until no bubbles are left.

The Faito Kobra-X Titanium is designed in such a way that it has a multi-layered construction. It consists of a high grade Nylon tube at its core and this is the reason why it has high thermal resistance to take the high heat that occurs during aggressive braking. This central is enclosed by a stainless steel braid layer, which is the attribute that gets rid of the spongy feel of the original stock brakes, since the hose does not swell with pressure. This will guarantee that all of the pressure of your brake pedal is directly transmitted to the caliper for an immediate bite.
Finally, to cover the hose, an EPDM synthetic rubber sheath covering is used in a smooth Titanium finish that is impact and UV ray resistant. The banjos are manufactured out of the pure stainless steel to avoid rusting and corrosion and the aluminum alloy sleeve covers are used to give an elegant, slick racing appearance.
