Drain Fluid: Choose to have your motorcycle secured and get all the old brake fluid out of the system. Cleanse: Pop off the factory screwed-in old hose by undoing the banjo bolts, and out pull the old rubber hose. Install the Kobra-X: Lay the red hose on the original guides (take out banjos where there are only a few). Connect Fittings: Use new copper washers on each side to connect the banjos to the master cylinder and caliper. Seal and Secure: Screw the banjo bolts to the proper torque, in order to provide a leak-free connection. Bleed Air: Fill the system with new DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluid and bleed out.
