Speedoz Ltd. the sole distributor of Keeway brand of motorcycle in Bangladesh recently Keeway RKV 150  2016 launched in Bangladesh. Unlike many bike companies their launched was very low profile by displaying their bikes at their showroom at Moakhali.

For starter this is a completely new bike, their past models RKV150 used to be heavy and had a big headlight & most important of all that the bike used to have inverse front suspension. This new RKV150 looks nothing like the old one but technically close to RKS 150 Sports.

Both the bike carries the same engine (150cc air cooled) with the same output (14 BHP & 12.8 NM of Torque) and compression ratio but they are differing by the way they look & differ by the equipment they carry. Side by side you will feel that they are equal but there are some major differences.

The headlight of the bike does look close to TVS RTR Motorcycle with LED parking lights and trapezium headlight, the switch gears are of good qualities. Speedometer has an analog rev counter with digital speed indicator, gear indicator, odometer, fuel gauge & clock.

Bike has a 16 litre fuel tank with long air scoop alone the side of the tank for better cooling of the engine. The air scoop of the bike is a bit longer in length. There are no split seats or mono suspension in the bike. The gear changer still carries both feet and toe changer.

The chain is half cover and there are standard legs & saree guard with the bike, front suspension is telescopic while the rears are adjustable with spring coil. The rear end of the same is just a carbon copy of RKS150 Sports.

The bike gets 230mm flower cut front disc brake & rear drum brakes; they gave the bike a newly designed exhaust & better build quality then RKS150, a bike we tested last month. Riding experience was good due to heavy traffic I couldn’t ride that hard but what I felt that the bike have enough power with very good acceleration and braking.

Couple of issues with the bike starting with the lack of tubeless tyres but from 2017 onward this bike will get tubeless tyres, no rear disc brakes, no engine mud guard, and no mono suspension. But I think the build quality of this bike is a touch better then RKS150 Sports. Currently you can get interest free loan for Keeway Motorcycles with the help of Eastern Bank.
