Hence, from the front, it’s enhanced with robotic arrowhead and the tail is something like alien ship multi-layered anchor. The front end is too much aggressive with the huge size of headlamp assembly and aerodynamic winglet. The headlamp unit designed unique with integrated DRL and turn signals with all LED setup. The negative display ODO is another unique cluster that is fully digital after the shorter windshield. Here the rider seat is placed in the pocket between the bigger multi-curved edgy fuel tank and hi-raised tail part. Further pillion seating option is not ignored but it’s minimal with too much compact sporty tail. The end is LED fitted multi-sliced tail and curvy with side scoops.

The new Honda CBR250RR is an all-new motorcycle that exactly different than the older generation of CBR250R. The machine structured basing a brand new lightweight truss frame. The steel pipe truss frame is significantly lighter but stronger that ensures maximum stiffness and stability.
Accordingly, the swing arm also redesigned. Now it’s aluminum gull arm that a bit sliced in the right side to get better placement of the bulky exhaust pipe. Here the wheels are featured with light weighted 7-spoke aluminum alloy rims with wider tubeless type tires. The tires are 110mm in front and 140mm in the rearThe braking system of the new machine all are hydraulic with large disk setup both in front and rear. Furthermore, the bike comes in two options like Standard Non-ABS and another is ABS version. Hence in ABS version, the motorcycle comes with dual channel ABS in its both front and rear brakes.
Coming to the suspension system, the motorcycle comes with Upside Down (USD) telescopic fork suspension in front. The forks are made by SHOWA Indonesia. Here the rear unit is mono that unites with aluminum swingarm through Pro-Link system. The rear setup is also adjustable with five steps preloads.
2019 Honda CBR250RR – Engine Feature & Performances
The new Honda CBR250RR is an all-new machine that comes with newly developed parallel-twin engine & electronic updates. The engine is a four-stroke and liquid cooled engine that featured with DOHC 8-valves. Hence, this Supersports tuned engine compresses in the ratio of 11.5:1 where the fuel supplied by the PGM-FI injection system.
This highly calibrated engine profiled with higher rev characteristics. Hence with significant high rev operation, it produces the peak power of 28.5kw@12,500RPM and the torque of 23.3NM@11,000RPM. So, you can see the performance figures are leveled in a higher line that’s twisting in terms of quarter-liter engine.
Electronic Enhancements
Coming to the electronic updates the throttle cut off the conventional cable control system. Honda adopted the TBW, therefore, Throttle-By-Wire to offer optimal control in any throttle position. The feature shadowed from the bigger RC213V model and CBR250RR is the first quarter-liter model that has a TBW system.
Hence Accelerator Position Sensor (APS) positioned in throttle-bar that detects the twisting position and send signals to the ECU. Thus the ECU controls the entire intake and fuel injection system electronically. So this feature brings a more précised feel when rolling in situations.
New Downdraft Intake & 3-Step Riding Mode
Coming to the next, the engine intake system also enhanced in a new dimension. Honda adopted downdraft air intake design in this new power grinder. Here the air box is larger with superbike inspired front air intake tunnel. Later the dual intake channel is directly forwarded to the intake valves. Resulting, the new design allows a bulk RAM and shorter path for the air-fuel mixture.
Finally, in this new machine, Honda provided three different engine modes like Comfort, Sport & Sport+. Accordingly, riders have the freedom to avail economy, moderate and thrust riding mode. Hence the rider can run in the economy or further can run in the optimum frequency of fun. So whatever the rider’s choice, with updated intake channel and developed electronic mapping the engine provides responsive solid acceleration and superior performances.
