The iconic Honda RC213V sport machine now features a dominant red base supported by the familiar blue and white colors of HRC. Castrol joins as the title sponsor and its branding remains clearly visible on both sides of the bike. Castrol replaced long time sponsor Repsol marking a new era for the Honda factory team.
Joan Mir and Luca Marini will once again represent Honda at the highest level of motorcycle racing. Both riders showed signs of progress during the previous season. Mir secured podium finishes at Motegi and Sepang while Luca Marini recorded his best Grand Prix results at Balaton Park and Mandalika.

Mir expressed his pride after seeing the new machine and said “It is another beautiful bike and I am proud to ride it being part of Honda HRC Castrol is very special for me.” He also added, “In 2026 we must find consistency because we showed that the bike has speed and the team has ability.”
Luca Marini also shared his optimism ahead of the new season and said “It is a pleasure to begin another season with Honda HRC Castrol.” He added, “Everyone has worked hard during the winter and I am excited to ride the RC213V again.”

The 2026 campaign will be a historic one as it marks the final season of the RC213V. MotoGP is entering the last year of the one thousand cc era. The RC213V first debuted in 2012 and achieved six world titles between 2013 and 2019 under the leadership of Marc Marquez.
From the 2027 season Honda will introduce a new eight hundred fifty cc machine named the RC214V as MotoGP moves into a new technical era.
