The New Hero Hunk 150R Dual Disc almost is a recent addition to the Hero Hunk motorcycle series in Bangladesh. Hero MotoCorp has recently unveiled the all-new Hero Hunk 150R as part of its latest product lineup. This streetfighter motorcycle is specifically designed aiming to enhance the street riding experience by delivering smoother street performance and excellent fuel economy. 

Building upon the success of its predecessor, the Hunk classic model, Hero is marketing this updated version to cater to the diverse customers’ needs and requirements in this region. The Hero Hunk 150R Dual Disc, an upgrade from the older Hunk 150 model now boasts a re-tuned 150cc engine and conventional carburetor system. Meanwhile, the motorcycle also featured dual disc brakes on both wheels. Furthermore, the motorcycle is now updated with a digital instrument cluster and also comes with attractive exterior updates.

The Hero Hunk 150R Dual Disc is a dedicated street-naked motorcycle in the series which is known for aggressive urban styling and attractive sporty profile. Hero MotoCorp Ltd., the renowned Indian motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, has introduced the all-new Hero Hunk 150R Dual Disc as the latest addition to this series in the Bangladesh market. Maintaining quite the iconic design, this new machine has undergone several cosmetic and technical updates that resulted in a visually appealing and capable street machine.

The design of the new Hunk 150R Dual Disc is based on the older Hunk 150 model whereas the new version also copied a partial shadow of the older Xtreme 150 model. As a result, the motorcycle has undergone significant changes compared to its predecessor. However, it still shares certain components such as the frame, wheel, suspensions, and also seat, and fuel tank. The motorcycle also comes with a newly designed digital instrument cluster and is extensively refreshed with new exterior panels.

At first glance, the new Hunk 150R Dual Disc catches attention with its powerful headlamp assembly featuring separated DRLs. Above the headlamp, the newly designed digital-analog combo ODO cluster is mounted inside a compact fairing. The new ODO unit now displays a comprehensive range of parameters. After that the pipe handlebar has been redesigned with new control switch arrangements, enhancing the motorcycle's overall control and functionality.

The fuel tank retains its iconic shape but has received a facelift with the newly designed sharp tank shrouds and is now adorned with an attractive skin tone. The seat remains in a one-piece design that is segmented for the rider and pillion which is positioned at different heights. Integrated grab rails have been added beside the rear seat, while the tail section features an all-new look beholding a sharp tail lamp and sporty rear registration plate hanger.

Additionally, the new Hero Hunk 150R features a new exhaust barrel. It comes with a compact tire hugger at the rear wheel and is crafted with a sporty engine underbelly pan. Thus, overall, the design of the motorcycle exudes compactness and muscularity. Therefore, it nicely reflects its aggressive appeal further accentuated by the new color and graphics scheme.

New Hero Hunk 150R Dual Disc – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The new Hero Hunk 150R Dual Disc is a refreshed machine that has been constructed on a Tubular Diamond frame, which is consistent throughout the entire Hero Hunk lineup. Sequentially, the motorcycle also maintains quite the same wheel, brake, and suspension configuration as featured in other models in the series. 

However, this new version of Hunk comes with a 100/80-17 tire at the front and a 130/70-17 tire at the rear. Both wheels are tubeless type. In terms of the braking system, the new Hunk 150R Dual Disc features hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels.

In suspension, the motorcycle features upright telescopic fork suspensions at the front. At the rear, it incorporates a 7-step adjustable mono-shock absorber connected to the swingarm hinge. Therefore, these competent features ensure reliable street performance both in city and weekend long rides.

New Hero Hunk 150R Dual Disc – Engine Performance & Features:

The Hero Hunk 150R Dual Disc is a modern, feature-packed street-naked motorcycle. It is equipped with a newly updated 149.2cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine. This engine features a 2-valve and carburetor fuel-feeding system. The performance-proven engine is fitted with a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gear transmission with the pattern 1-N-2-3-4-5. The motorcycle starts using the electric and kick-start system.

When it comes to power and performance, the new Hero Hunk 150R Dual Disc engine has been optimized to deliver enhanced power, torque, and improved fuel efficiency. The engine is now capable of generating a maximum power of 10.55kW at 8,500RPM and a torque of 12.6Nm at 6,500RPM. With these enhancements, the motorcycle can reach a top speed of approximately 120kmph while providing a decent range of fuel economy for both city and highway rides.
