Introduction

Keeway Cafe Racer 152 is an entry-level cafe-racer motorcycle showcased in the Keeway motorcycle product line. It’s a small-capacity cruising machine that has been released by the renowned Chinese motorcycle and scooter brand Keeway in its commuter motorcycle lineup. This all-new motorcycle comes with a refreshed design and styling featuring an absolute café-raced design and styling. 

The motorcycle exclusively features the 60s retro cafe racer layout but holds the modern technical features inside. Besides, it features a decently powerful 150cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine and comes with capable wheel, brake, and suspension systems. Hence, it nicely featured to be a modern commuting machine that not only can serve in daily rides also can enhance a rider’s attitude.


Keeway Cafe Racer 152 – Physical Attributes:

The new Keeway Cafe Racer 152 is a very beautifully designed entry-level commuter motorcycle that comes with an old-school cafe-racer design. The motorcycle is designed so attractively that you may not expect that from such a small machine. Technically, it’s a 150cc small capacity commuter motorcycle that solely holds the retro-styling, especially copies the 70-80s motorcycle design. But undoubtedly, it is crafted with modern technical features.

However, Keeway Cafe Racer 152 is born blending with all old-school styling from its head to tail. The motorcycle comes with a retro aesthetic that begins with its round-shaped headlamp assembly, which features turn indicators on both sides. On the naked top, the round ODO console features an analog-digital combination that is complemented by a retro chrome bezel.

Rather than the ODO and ignition key pit, the cockpit is fully naked and excludes any unnecessary panels. The handlebar is a single-piece pipe handlebar that features common control switch arrangements. Next, the metal fuel tank features a retro design as do the compact side panels. They're a bit rounded at their edge and features a retro colour and graphical scheme enhancing the café-racer vibe. Matching the design, it features sa ingle-piece stitched cushioned seat that has an optional cowling at the tail.

Meanwhile, the motorcycle features a completely naked tail that excludes a conventional grabrail. Then, along with the rear turn indicators, a naked round tail lamp is pinned naked on the rear wheel mudguard. Consequently, the registration plate hanger is also mounted on the mudguard, featuring classic styling. Lastly, along with old-school wired-spoke wheels and gun-barrel exhaust muffler, the motorcycle entirely showcases an absolute café-racer design that literally looks cool.


Keeway KPM150 – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

Keeway Cafe Racer 152 is an old-school café-racer dubbed motorcycle from Keeway. The motorcycle is designed on a steel diamond frame. On the wheels, the motorcycle holds steel-wired spoke rims and tube-type street tires in the measure of 3.00-17 at the front and 110/80-17 at the rear. 

In the braking system, the motorcycle comes with a hydraulic disc braking setup on the front wheel, and the rear wheel features a drum-type brake. In the suspension system, Keeway Cafe Racer 152 comes with an upright hydraulic telescopic fork suspension system in the front, and at the rear, it holds a gas-charged and spring-loaded twin shock absorbers attached to the swingarm edge.


Keeway Cafe Racer 152 – Engine Performance & Features:

The new Keeway Cafe Racer 152 is a retro cafe-racer profiled street commuter motorcycle. The motorcycle comes with a 149cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled, OHV 2-valve, carburetor engine. The motorcycle features a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gear transmission in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. And, the engine starting features both kick and electric start systems. 

In power and performance figures, the new Keeway Cafe Racer 152 engine has been tweaked for smoother power delivery and efficient fuel economy. Accordingly, the engine is rated to squeeze out the maximum power of 8.4kW at 8,000RPM and a torque of 11.1Nm at 6,000RPM. Thus, the motorcycle has been tweaked to clock a decent top speed and ensure a notable fuel economy under standard riding and environmental conditions.
