Kawasaki Ninja 250SL is the single-cylinder version of the sportbike in the Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle lineup, produced by Japanese motorcycle giant Kawasaki. The motorcycle comes with a quarter-liter capacity single-cylinder engine, while the Ninja 250 model comes with a twin-cylinder engine. The motorcycle is a solid street racing machine that is comprehensively profiled with Kawasaki’s Ninja SuperSport DNA and features a street racing contour. 

As Kawasaki represents their Ninja series as a SuperSport motorcycle lineup, the motorcycles in the series comprehensively utilize the track racing DNA. Therefore, Ninja 250SL also adopts SuperSport racing characteristics that is unavoidably make the motorcycle more performance-oriented. However, Ninja 250SL comes with a single headlamp setup upfront unlike the Ninja 250 model. The front assembly showcases a sharply designed single-pit headlamp assembly featuring a large windshield on the top. The motorcycle is constructed on a high-tensile and lightweight steel trellis frame and has a highly rigid steel-tube swingarm. Here, the clutch system is an assist & slipper type wet multi-plate clutch where the transmission has six-speed gears. Meanwhile, the motorcycle has an electric start system only. In the power and performance, the Kawasaki Ninja 250SL’s single-cylinder engine has been optimized for smooth power delivery and sharp throttle response. 

The engine is efficient in both power output and fuel economy. However, along with the latest emissions compliance, the engine is rated to produce a maximum power of 27.62BHP at 9,700RPM and a torque of 22.3Nm at 8,200RPM.
