In 1938, the company relocated to Langenthal and was renamed Bucher & Cie AG, whereby this time it had established its brand name REX. Thereafter, in 1947 the company entered into the motor oil businesses by Edi Bucher deriving by the emerging motorization trends. Beholding the word MOTO with their old brand name REX the company launched its new brand name MOTOREX that year. Thus the brand MOTOREX was formed and established and in the meantime, in 1965 its shoe and floor care products are discontinued.
In the following years, MOTOREX continued to research and develop versatile segments in the lubricant and chemical industry.
