The Yamaha R15 V3 is a special motorcycle. It has made more chatter among the public than any bike has ever done in Bangladesh. The excitement among youngsters and the curiosity of experienced motorcyclists have always been at peak for the Yamaha R15 V3. The Yamaha R15 V3 came in two variants in most countries. One of them was Indonesian and the other was Indian. The Indonesian variant being the one without ABS and with USD forks. Lets see the Latest Price of r15 v3 price in bangladesh.
H1 Is it possible to install ABS on the Yamaha R15 V3?
The Yamaha R15 V3 has been in the market for as long as 4 years now, yet it has not gotten old. The reason is simple. It is one of the best sports bikes to have set foot on Bangladeshi soil. The Yamaha R15 V3 is used as a benchmark for most motorcycles in the country. Even other sports bikes such as the Honda CBR 150R and the Suzuki GSX-R 150 did not have as much popularity as the Yamaha R15 V3. This is because the speed and the features of the Yamaha R15 V3 are like nothing else.
Now coming to talk about ABS. The Yamaha R15 V3 Indian variant already has ABS. However, if you purchased the Yamaha R15 V3 Indonesian variant, in that case, you would have to install an aftermarket ABS set.
H2 Why shouldn't you go for an aftermarket ABS?
H2 Expensive:
These systems are made by both popular and small companies. Popular companies have very high quality ABS systems. These systems may as well cost you half the price of your motorcycle. The price to performance ratio will not be suitable. For small companies, the ABS sets produced don’t have very good performance. In the case of Bangladesh and India, aftermarket ABS systems of small companies are also very expensive.
H2 Availability:
Aftermarket ABS sets are not readily available in Bangladesh. Regardless of expensive or cheap sets, aftermarket ABS sets are not available anyway in Bangladesh. In most cases, you might have to import the whole set from overseas.
H2 After Sales service:
ABS sets are complicated anyway. If the set is not compatible with your bike, in that case, you will not get any form of after sales service. In case of any harm to the bike, you might not get any form of service from your motorcycle provider as it might void your warranty.
H2 Performance:
Assuming you have already installed the ABS set, you won’t get the same performance as the stock ABS sets. This is because stock sets have been integrated with the ECU of the bike, but for these systems, they will have to be hard wired to the ECU or have a separate ECU, which might not be very good for the bike.
Hence, we understood that aftermarket ABS can be installed on the Yamaha R15 V3. But we would not suggest that you install any aftermarket ABS on the Yamaha R15 V3. As installing an aftermarket ABS system might hurt the bike.
