Finally, Honda makes a difference in the motorcycle industry. They launched a new motorcycle in Bangladesh. After a long time, Honda NX200 is the long-awaited new adventure touring motorcycle which has finally found its way into the Bangladeshi market through Bangladesh Honda Private Limited.

BHL Launches the New Honda NX200 In Bangladesh

The Japanese brand Honda is a global brand, and it does not require a new introduction on the level of popularity and trust of the brand amongst bikers in Bangladesh.

Many motorcycle enthusiasts in Bangladesh had been waiting so long to have a new Honda model introduced in the local market officially. The waiting period for the long-term waiting is already at the end because the new Honda motorcycle is already in stock.

Bangladesh Honda Private Limited had been toying with an impending motorcycle for several days on their official Facebook page. After some time, Honda eventually released the NX200, an adventure touring (ADV) motorbike that has already attained a favorable response in the 200cc worldwide market. Honda has not relinquished that foreign success and has now officially launched the Honda NX200 in Bangladesh.

It was officially launched on 20 December 2025, Saturday, in Hall 4, ICCB, before guests and the general bikers. Minoru Katu, Chief Officer Of Honda Motor Co. Ltd, Susumu Morisawa, MD& CEO, Bangladesh Honda Private Limited, Shah Md. Ashequr Rahman, Chief Marketing Officer, Bangladesh Honda Private Limited, was present at the launching and also gave there valuable speech.

Many motorcycle enthusiasts, moto-vloggers, and influencers were present at the event. Team BikeBD Founder and Chairman Suvro Sen, BikeBD CEO Hasan Setu, and some of his other team members who were present at the event attended the event on behalf of Team BikeBD.

Additionally, everyone observed a one-minute silence during the launch event in remembrance of Osman Bin Hadi, who recently passed away.

The engine of Honda NX200 is air-cooled, 2-valve, 4-stroke, single-cylinder with 184.4cc, PGM-FI type and potential of 16.5 horsepower and 15.1 Nm of torque. The motorcycle has 110/70-17 tires at the front and 140/70-17 tires at the back. It has also been provided with the latest gadgets such as an assist and slipper clutch and an ABS braking system to make it safer and faster.

The NX200 features multi-purpose tires on both wheels, along with dual-disc and multi-channel ABS, ensuring the vehicle remains well-controlled on all types of roads. In addition, it has an Upside Down (USD) suspension and upright handlebar placed in the ADV style to ensure that all riders get a comfortable ride regardless of making long-distance rides and adventure rides.

The price of Honda NX200 in Bangladesh was fixed to BDT only, at the price of 3,15,000/-

The participants were quite satisfied, as the launch event was arranged with the involvement of general bikers. Most of the bikers concurred with the same and indicated that until then, there were hardly any officially available ADV motorcycles in the Bangladeshi market.

The long-touring riders and adventure riders have now had a possible and reliable option because of the introduction of the Honda NX200.
