Bangladesh Honda Pvt Ltd (BHL) Launches Honda Shine SP in Bangladesh today in a grand launching program in Dhaka. In the event Honda also launches the Honda CBR150R with ABS. Honda Shine SP will be the 3rd motorcycles which will be localized at Honda's factory after Honda Dream Neo & Honda Livo.Honda Shine SP is the upgraded version of Honda CB Shine. This bike will be placed as an executive commuter for bikers who wants a sporty design in the 125 cc category, Honda already has Honda Livo in the 110 cc segment.

Honda CBR150R ABS & Honda CB Shine SP Launched In Bangladesh

New Honda Shine SP will have the same 125 cc air cooling engine which will produce 10.57 BHP & 10.30 NM of Torque. The new engine uses Honda's ECO technology which helps to optimize the balance between power & mileage. Honda claims that this bike will have a mileage feedback of 65 kmpl. The bike will have a 5 speed gearbox comparing to 4 speed gearbox with the old CB Shine.Honda changed the looks of this new Shine SP. The bike now has tank shroud on the side of the fuel tank, 5 split 10 spoke alloy wheels, digital analog speedometer which has a analog speedometer & a digital unit which shows fuel gauge, odometer & service due indicator. They fitted the bike with sharp headlight with carved visor and added stylish graphics to the bike followed it up with chrome finished muffler cover. Shine SP also gets sealed chain for better life expectancy, MF battery, viscous air filter. For more comfortable & safe ride the bike gets 240 mm front disc brake & 130 mm rear drum brake. The bike also has tubeless tyres, diamond frame, front telescopic suspensions & rear spring loaded adjustable hydraulic suspensions. Shine SP will be available in Athletic Blue Metallic, Black & Imperial Red Metallic colours.With a Price tag of 126,900 BDT Honda Shine SP will come with 2 years or 20,000 km engine warranty with 4 free service. Honda Shine SP will be the 3rd bike which will go into the localization process under the SRO rules of Bangladeshi government. We hope soon Honda will also start localization of Honda CB Hornet which will help to reduce the price of that bike further.
