In the 2024–2025 financial year, several brands are for supremacy in Bangladesh's fiercely competitive motorbike market. As the nation's second-leading motorbike brand, Yamaha has become a significant player in this market.

The July through December 2024 statistics show that Yamaha had a remarkable 20.13% share in wholesale sales, only behind Bajaj's 21.81%. Yamaha maintained its position as the second most popular brand among Bangladeshi consumers by securing 19.52% in retail sales.

Yamaha's Competitive Advantage: Uniformity in Measures Yamaha's strong consumer demand that aligns with distribution efforts is indicated by the close synchronization of wholesale and retail sales. This shows effective supply chain management and marketing initiatives that are well-targeted.

Brand Appeal: Bangladeshi youth and urban commuters are drawn to Yamaha's reputation for building fashionable, robust, and performance-focused motorcycles. Models such as the Yamaha R15 and FZ series have built a devoted following.

Technological Developments: Yamaha has maintained its lead in a cutthroat market by investing in safety features, fuel economy, and innovative design.

Yamaha's dominance in the Bangladeshi market was further demonstrated by the difficulty TVS, Runner, and other brands had breaking into double-digit market shares.
