The Yamaha R15 V3 and the KTM RC 200 are both speed monsters. They both have extreme power and torque. They both have a bad habit of tearing through whatever road they go through. However, the comparison is a fair one, as KTM does not have any 150cc bike, and Yamaha does not have any bike in the 200cc segment. Whose engine is the best, the KTM RC 200 or the Yamaha R15 V3?

The Yamaha R15 V3 is a sports bike with fuel injected 155cc engine and liquid cooling. The engine spits out about 19BHP of power at 10000RPM and 14.7NM of torque at 8500RPM. The bike also comes with ABS and slipper clutch. These features allow the Yamaha R15 V3 to be very impressive. The KTM RC 200 also comes with fuel injection, liquid cooling, and ABS, but it does not get the slipper clutch. Both these bikes also have quite a few other features that make both the bikes very impressive. 

Both the bikes have LED headlamps, but the KTM RC 200 has better illumination than the Yamaha R15 V3. This is due to the size of the headlights. On the other hand, the Yamaha R15 V3 has more comfortable seats than the KTM RC 200. Both the bikes have good windshields, but the Yamaha R15 V3 has a fairly upright windshield which disrupts the airflow and might have a lesser aerodynamic profile.

Among the two bikes, they have much different profiles in terms of riding styles. The Yamaha R15 V3 has a high end profile. Which means, the bike will have better performances in the high end. But in the low and medium speeds, the bike will not have much better performance than the KTM RC 200. The KTM RC 200 is a bike that will perform at its finest in the mid segment, which allows it to sweep through traffic much faster than the Yamaha R15 V3. But in the top end, we cannot compare the Yamaha R15 V3 and the KTM RC 200, because the KTM RC 200 will have an advantage in the higher end due to higher power and torque. 

In terms of touring, the Yamaha R15 V3 and the KTM RC 200 will not have much different performances. This is because they both are sports bikes with similar features. However, the Yamaha R15 V3 will be much easier to ride for shorter riders, as it has a much lower seat height than KTM RC 200. The KTM RC 200 is much more compact than the Yamaha R15 V3 in terms of width. This allows the KTM to squeeze through heavy traffic.
