The journey started on 9th February 2018, we took the plane to New Delhi at 11 AM and arrived at the destination around 4 hours later. On the first day there weren't too many activities but in the evening we visited a Harley Davidson dealership near Nelsen Mandela road. Key focus of this tour was to let know and share the experience with the Bangladeshi bikers about the bikes in the international segments. One the second day we visited Indian Auto Expo 2018 The Expo held at Greater Noida which was 2 hours driving distance from New Delhi. On that particular day the event was opened only for media so we got the exclusive chance to view those motorcycles first hand. We visited the Yamaha pavilion up front which was glittering with the magnificent Yamaha R15 V3.

We have already reviewed the Indonesian version of the bike but this Indian version carries almost everything from the Indonesia except for the USD shock & it gets new colour scheme added with saree guard. We also saw the duel disc version of Yamaha FZS. There was a fashion show which focused on the Facino scooter.
After that we visited the TVS pavilion where we saw the new scooter CREON & then the Kawasaki pavilion for some exclusive Kawasaki bikes. Just opposite of Yamaha was the pavilion of Honda who displayed Honda X Blade. What was surprising to me that both officials from Yamaha & Honda pavilion were aware about BikeBD & they said that follow us to get the news about the market in Bangladesh.
Finally we came towards the Pavillion of Suzuki where they showcases Suzuki Hayabusa, a bike which Rancon Motorbikes Ltd wishes to bring at Dhaka Bike Show 2018. In the whole Expo one of the interesting launch was the launching of Aprilia RS150, 150cc sports bike from Aprilia. It is expected to launch in India on the final quarter of 2018.
In the afternoon we went to see the Stunt show from Yamaha, where expert riders from Japan performed stunt and beside that there were Honda safe riding promotion. We left Auto Expo around 2 pm and were on our way to Yamaha Surajpur factory. In our 2nd article we will talk more details about the factory of Yamaha.
We want to thank ACI Motors & Yamaha Motor Company for giving us the opportunity to go & enjoy Indian Auto Expo 2018. In our 2nd installment of our article next week we will discuss more details about Yamaha factory.
