Honda X Blade Feature Review - Team BikeBD
Last updated on 24-Aug-2024 , By Ashik Mahmud
In the Indian Auto Expo Honda launched Honda X Blade, a bike which caught the eyes of many bike enthusiasts in Bangladesh. With this bike using the same engine as Honda CB Hornet 160R so there won’t be any problem for this motorcycle to come in Bangladesh.
Honda X Blade Feature Review
Honda X Blade uses the same 163cc air cooled engine as seen in Honda CB Hornet 160R but the engine has been detune. The engine produces 13.93 BHP & 13.9 NM of Torque. Attach to the engine is a 5 speed gearbox. The biggest change which the bikers will notice is the full on LED headlight upfront. This is good news as now the headlight won’t be an AC unit like we have in Honda CB Hornet 160R. on the top of the headlight there is a visor which will assist some aerodynamic.
This time they have extended the tank scoop. The fuel tank carries 12 litres of fuel. There is a all new speedometer which has been borrowed from Honda CBR150R. The bike doesn’t get any split seat but gets rod handle bar which helps for an upright riding position. There are LED tail light and added to that the rear grabrail is designed well to go with the aggressive looks. Am a bit surprise that Honda didn’t opted to go for LED indicators. The bike will get conventional telescopic front suspension & rear monoshock suspensions as found in Honda Hornet.
Front tyre of the bike is 80/100 while the rear tyre is 130/70. The bike weighs 140 kg and although they gave 276 mm front disc brake up front but the rear brakes will be drum only. It has a rear mud guard attach to the tyres, hazard indicators light & duel outlet silencer something we have seen in Suzuki Gixxer.
This bike is priced below Honda CB Hornet160R in India & we believe that this bike will fight with the likes of Pulsar 150 DTSI & Apache RTR160 in Bangladesh. Although we are not sure what will be the price of this motorcycle but we believe that it will be around the same price range of Bajaj Pulsar DTSI & TVS Apache RTR160.
