Engine:

The all new Honda 80 is said to come with an engine of four-stroke, single cylinder and air-cooled with a displacement of 72 cc. The engine gives a maximum power of 6.15 kW (8.25bhp) @7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 8.63 Nm @ 5500 rpm. Moreover, the bike also comes with a bore and stroke ratio of 50 : 55.6 mm and a compression ratio of 9:9:1.

The engine comes with a transmission of four gears along with an ignition system of CDI. It comes with a starting system of kick and a battery power of 12V. The new CD 80 is an ideal combination of attractive design with super economy-power and smoke-free 4-Stroke engine, which promises you the most economical ride of your life with a mileage of 80 KMPL and fuel capacity of 8.5 liters.

Moving on, the new CD 80 got the perfect features. Starting from its longer seats, which give you a better and comfortable ride in the long distance even with a pillion rider, to it amazing accessories, such as the front guard black. The front guard black is a black powder coating for preventing rust and its unique design is to absorb high impact and enhance safety for riders.

The superior fit and finish seat covers, designed with metallic fabric to give it a better look, also protects the seats from dust and dirt. The grip covers are also very good with a premium look and superior fit and finish. All in all Honda introduced CD 80 as a complete package for the riders.

Suspension & Wheels

This two-wheeler comes with a wheelbase of 1258 mm which gives a better stability even while riding at a high speed. The bike also comes with tubeless tires with a front and rear size of 80/100-17. It also features a braking system of drum with a size of 130 mm on both front and rear.

Furthermore the bike come with a diamond frame with a telescopic suspension on the front and spring loaded hydraulic suspension on the rear. As mentioned earlier hydraulic brakes are very much suitable for Bangladeshi roads as it  allows a screeching halt which can sometimes lead to toppling situations but at least it’s better than having an accident.

Moving to the last part of the segment. The bike got a dimension of length of 1897 mm , width of 751 mm and height of 1014 mm. It comes with a dead weight of 82 kg and a ground clearance of 136 mm. Now, being light weighted got its own advantage, when it comes to stability and driving round the corners, the small weight and high ground clearance help the bike stay stable in those bumpy conditions.

The chances of the engine hitting on the ground are reduced in the bad conditions. Moreover the wide handlebar coupled with the upright seating position offer great maneuvering capabilities in city traffic. This, as we all know, is very common in Bangladesh.
