The launching program of Honda CB Hornet 160R was one of the most exciting launching program of any motorcycle in Bangladesh. The two days program was attended by 15500 bikers who came at the Honda CB Hornet 160R Launching Program 2018.

Honda CB Hornet 160R Launching Program 2018 started on the evening of 16th February, there was a recite from Holy Quran, welcome speech by Managing Director & CEO of Bangladesh Honda Pvt Ltd Yuichiro Ishii. He said that he is targeting to be the number 1 motorcycle brand in Bangladesh. He announced the price of the Honda CB Hornet 160R as 199,800 BDT (single disc). Honda CB Hornet 160R is a street naked sports bike, it was unveiled at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). Raw, Real, Ripped, Rocking , the all new CB Hornet 160R stands out in it's category with it's aggressive styling & cutting edge performance. 

The bike has 163 cc powerful engine which delivers 15.1 BHP & 14.7 NM of Torque. It has muscular tank with attractive graphics, petal disc brake upfront, 140 mm wider rear tyre,  compact muffler, full digital speedometer ,mono suspension on the rear, X Shaped LED tail light, aggressive headlight, & HET for better fuel efficiency & performance. There is AHO facility in the motorcycle which is a safety feature for the motorcycle. This feature allows for a safe riding. It improves the motorcycle visibility not in dawn but in dust, fog & even in bring daylight.

Honda CB Hornet 160R will be available in 3 exciting colours: Striking Green, Sports Red & Athletic Blue Metallic. During the event they gave away dummy keys to the first few Hornet owners.

On the evening of day 1 there was Live Concert Performance by Warefaze, one of the best hard rock band in Bangladesh. Just after the launching program they started the test ride event of Honda CB Hornet 160R. Many bike enthusiast tested the bike on that evening. It was nice to see that Honda only allowed those bikers who have a proper driving license to participate in the event and also they wore proper safety gears for the Test Ride.  

On the second day of the event the program started early morning with many bikers coming for the test ride event. Many bikers also performed at Gymkhana which is a small track where you can show your riding & most important controlling skill of your motorcycle. In the afternoon there was performance by DJ Sonica. 

Day 2 activities was all about the bikers taking selfie withHonda CB Hornet 160R, taking test rides, performing in Gymkhana & listening to concerts of Metal Maze, Vikings & Mechanics. Total 700 riders got to experience test ride event while from there 70 were choosed from gymkhana.

The two days Honda CB Hornet 160R Launching Program ended with BHL giving honored crest to the biker's club who attended in the launching program. From the dealers hut some 100 riders gave booking for Hornet which they will get delivery from this week. It was an international event which was enjoyed by many & we are waiting to see more events like this from other motorcycle companies in Bangladesh.
