Last updated on 24-Nov-2024 , By Badhon Roy

CF Moto is a highly popular Chinese brand in the international market. On Bangladeshi roads, CF Moto's 150–165cc bikes occasionally catch the eye due to their unique design, engine sound, and performance. To participate in the ongoing competition of launching higher cc motorcycles, CF Moto has introduced the 250SR model in its 250cc lineup to the Bangladeshi market.

Here, the "SR" stands for Sport Racing, indicating that this is a sports segment bike. Many consider it a strong competitor in the 200–250cc segment currently available or soon to hit the Bangladeshi market with its attractive features and powerful engine. In this article, we’ll take a detailed look at the CF Moto 250SR.

CF Moto 250SR – Design

At first glance, the CF Moto 250SR look is quite similar to the 300SS model from the same brand. The attractive shape of the front dual headlamp is inspired by the McLaren P1 sports car. The bike’s appearance is highly aggressive and sporty.

Its aerodynamic shape gives it a premium feel. The body kit is durable and gives a bulky, robust look. The seating position is sporty, and the wide mirrors enhance both the bike's aesthetics and practicality. Its appealing graphics are sure to draw attention.

CF Moto 250SR – Engine Specifications

The CF Moto 250SR comes equipped with a 249.2cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve, 4-stroke engine with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology. This engine produces a maximum power of 27.10 HP at 9750 RPM and a torque of 22 Nm at 7500 RPM. It features a CF-SC wet multi-plate slipper clutch and a 6-speed gearbox for smooth and quick responses. The bike's top speed is expected to range between 130–135 km/h.

CF Moto 250SR – Features

Seat Height, Weight, and Ground Clearance

The bike has a seat height of 780 mm and a ground clearance of 135 mm. With a curb weight of 165 kg, it feels heavy, but the weight balancing is excellent. It’s also worth noting that heavier bikes are typical for higher cc segments to ensure proper stability.

Ignition System

It features a self-electric ignition system.

Digital Instrument Cluster

The 5-inch TFT screen initially resembles a smartphone. This excellent digital cluster allows the rider to customize the screen themes. In addition to displaying general information, it shows vital data such as temperature, map navigation, multiple trip meters, speedometer, tachometer, gear indicator, service reminder, ABS indicator, side stand indicator, clock, and more. It also includes Bluetooth connectivity, which allows riders to sync data with CF Moto's dedicated app and view details directly on their smartphones.

LED Lighting

The bike’s dual headlamps, already described in the design section, come with DRL. Both the tail lamp and turn indicators are LED, providing a stylish and visible lighting system.

Underbelly Exhaust

The bike's underbelly exhaust system not only enhances its sound with a better bass but also reduces additional weight.

Tubeless Tires

The tire sizes are 110/70-17 at the front and 140/60-17 at the rear. The tubeless CST radial tires and alloy rims are expected to provide a smooth riding experience.

Brakes

CF Moto has emphasized braking and safety. The bike features a 292 mm disc with a 4-piston caliper at the front and a 220 mm disc with a single-piston floating caliper at the rear. It is equipped with dual-channel Continental ABS for unexpected situations, making the braking system highly advanced.

Suspension System

The front suspension features a 37 mm upside-down fork (USD), while the rear uses a multi-adjustable monoshock absorber, ensuring a comfortable ride.

Mileage

With a 12-liter fuel capacity, the bike delivers a mileage of approximately 35 km per liter. Considering the higher cc, this mileage is quite good, as many 150–165cc bikes offer similar or even lower mileage. However, mileage may vary depending on fuel quality and riding style.

This was a detailed overview of the CF Moto 250SR. As more higher cc bikes are entering the market, this sports segment model is expected to be a strong competitor based on its specifications. It is anticipated that the bike will become a popular choice for riders in the higher cc sports bike category once launched. Additionally, CF Moto Bangladesh is expected to ensure reasonable pricing and adequate spare parts availability, keeping riders' needs in mind.
