Rian Motors is the sole distributor of TVS motorcycles in Bangladesh for a very long time. Over the past two years RTR overtook Pulsar and currently sits behind Yamaha FZS/Fazer as the 2^nd most sold 150cc bike in BD. Just like other major bike companies in BD Rian Motors also increased TVS price in Bangladesh after the 2015-2016 budget.

After Budget TVS Motorcycle Price In Bangladesh

Since 2015-2016 financial budget has been announce the government has decided to increase the tax on motorcycles from 30% to 45%. To counter it out many companies has increases the price of their bikes and few more are expected to do it soon.

In the past we have talked about the price hike of Yamaha & Bajaj & Honda while Hero seems to be the only company that didn’t increase the price of their models but instead they decreased the price of two 100cc motorcycles.

TVS is well known to make the most FUEL EFFICIENT bikes in Bangladesh. Some of their bikes like RTR and Metro are best known for their fuel efficiency. TVS Wego is currently one of the most selling scooters in BD, the style and the power delivery attracts customers who want comfort in their ride rather than power.

TVS Scooty Pep+ is the first choice for lady riders in Bangladesh, due to light weight and better mileage the scooty is very famous among the lady riders in Bangladesh. They have their assemble plant at Gazipur. To meet the demand with increase customers Rian Motors opened new service centre at Tejgaon and also a new Showroom in Tejgaon.

One of the shock in this price update was the price of duel disc RTR, before the increase in budget price was 2.17 lac while now it cost 2.35 lac which is an increase of 18K, while they only increase the price of Single disc RTR by 10K, they couldn’t give any valid reason just a single disc in the rear with some caliper and brake fluid will cost 25 K more.

Nice to see that unlike Bajaj and Honda they didn’t alter the price of 125cc bikes but increased slightly the 100cc TVS price in Bangladesh. The price of Wego is changed massively.
